OUR MISSION

The goal of New York Citizens for Clean Elections/Woodstock is to make politicians more accountable to the people by eliminating the undue influence of money that marks our current system of campaign funding.

We are committed to enactment of Clean Money Clean Election legislation that provides full public funding of campaigns for all qualified candidates who refuse private money and abide by spending limit

Our main effort is aimed at educating the public about the Clean Elections bill so that we can mount a massive campaign to pass it into law. We use many grass-roots strategies, including passage of resolutions by local governments urging state legislators to pass the bill, various events, speaking engagements, and house parties.

The Woodstock Chapter meets at 7:00 pm on the 1st Thursday of each month at the Woodstock Community Center. See Events and Calendar page for more information.
